New column is up

My new column is up

It is about Tom and Cathy Davis. Those of you who have read this blog for a long time will certainly recall the tragic tale that defined by first year here in my own mind. I was finally ready to write about it,and Tom was ready for me to do so. I don’t really care how popular this one is, how many hits it gets, or whatever. it’s a story I needed to tell. I still look at these pictures and tear up and I’m not the least bit ashamed about that.

I spoke to tom for about an hour yesterday and it was really nice. I miss him a lot. IN the face of the tragedy of Cathy’s death, I kind of forgot about how much of a loss it was for me just to not have Tom here. It’s obviously trivial in the big picture, but I really do miss him.
