Taking it all off – as discussed in Big in China, Chapter 9

It is endlessly fun for me to go back through the old posts here, especially those from the first year in Beijing. When my father Dixie Doc was going through chemo, a large group of us shaved our heads in support. This blog became, as I wrote on p. 71 of Big In China, “a riot of bald-headed photos.” Here’s what went down when it was my turn.

Hard to explain why this pic was so funny, but it was also about 5 degrees.
