On the ground in Chengdu and catching up with some Beijing pictures

This trip to Chengdu to speak at the Bookworm tonight is sure to be too brief, but it feels great to be here. Just leaving Beijing and landing in the chengdu airport felt invigorating to me and it’s hard to explain exactly why.

But I had so many great escapades and trips originating from airports like this and there’s such a distinct and different feel to landing in any airport in China that isn’t Beijing or Shanghai…
