Clapton to play Hyde Park with Winwood, Santana, Clark

Eric Clapton will play Hyde Park in London on July 8, with special guests including Steve Winwood, Santana and Gary Clark Jr.. 

Blind Faith on June 7, 1969. One of EC’s Blind Faith bandmates was, of  course, Winwood. “I have happy memories of performing in Hyde Park in the past and I’m really looking forward to playing there again – the whole atmosphere is very special,” Clapton said in a statement, 

Slowhand’s performance at Hyde Park will be his lone 2018 UK show. Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 1 at 9 a.m. local time.>
